Day 1

Camel Farm, Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Walpa (Olga) Gorge Walk, Uluru Sunset Drinks

Map of Red Centre HighlightsDeparting Alice Springs, travel through the rugged MacDonnell Ranges. Stop at the Camel Farm then continue past Atila (Mt Conner) en route to Ayers Rock Resort. This afternoon we travel to the domes of Kata Tjuta. This cluster of 36 rock formations dominates the skyline of the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. Take a guided walk along Walpa Gorge. Travel to Uluru (Ayers Rock) and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine as the sun sets over the monolith.

Day 2

Uluru Sunrise, Mala Walk, Kantju Gorge, 'Sounds of Silence' Dinner

Sounds of Silence DinnerRise early and enjoy a tea or coffee as the sun casts its first rays on Uluru. Take a guided walk to Mutitjulu waterhole. Tour the base of Uluru and learn about the geology and flora of the region on the guided Mala Walk. Or, you can climb Uluru and stand 348 metres above the desert plain. Visit the Cultural Centre and the Maruku Arts and Craft Cooperative. This evening, dine under the desert stars and savour Australian delicacies at the unique ‘Sounds of Silence’ Dinner. Relax and let an astronomer guide you on a tour of the night sky.

Day 3

Ayers Rock Resort

Relax at the resort this morning before transferring to Ayers Rock Airport.
