From a vantage point, watch the brilliant display of colour as the day’s first light slowly illuminates the fiery red earth and the scarred walls of Uluru (Ayers Rock). Rejoin the coach and journey the short distance to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Learn of the culture and law of the Anangu people, the park’s custodians. After a tasty breakfast (included), hear ancient legends of Liru Tjukurpa (Python Dreaming). Join Aboriginal guides and a language interpreter for the Liru Walk, learning of the history of Uluru. See a demonstration of traditional Aboriginal bush skills, including making the kiti (glue) that is used to construct weapons. Learn how to light a fire without matches and tool carving using sharpened stones. Enjoy this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in ancient Aboriginal culture.
