Horse riding gives you the opportunity to experience nature at its most intimate level. Rather than sitting in a bus or riding on a boat, you actively participate in the handling and control of the horse.

Prior horse riding experience is unnecessary, and the guides will instruct you on the best way to handle your horse. The horses provided by trail companies are always of a friendly nature and are suited to each rider's experience and ability.

The rides take place through bushland and rainforest, along golden beaches, and atop mountains offering spectacular views of the Coral Sea, island and surrounding mountains.

Horse riding expeditions can be as little as half a day, or can run for up to a week in duration.
