This is a place no one should miss.

There are many reasons why people get “hooked” on Kangaroo Island. It is like an open air zoo, lots of wildlife, fresh air, the unhurried pace of life, produce, wine, and fishing. This is Australia’s 3rd largest island. It’s big, l35 miles long and 33 miles wide. You need a two day tour to really see the highlights.30% of the island is National Park, and has unique flora and birds you wont see anywhere else.

It’s only 30 minute flight from Adelaide, or you can take the ferry over which is a nice trip. It lies 10 miles off the coast.

The seas around the island are very rough, and since l847 over 50 ships have been lost around its coast. Great camera spot is Remarkables Rocks on the cliffs where the two oceans meet.

You can't get around on your own, you need a guide since a lot of it is 4-wheel drive and unmarked roads.

A unique experience. Be prepared to do a lot of bush walking.
