This is considered one of the most scenic roads in the world. You travel from Melbourne to Anglesea, Lorne, Apollo Bay, see the 12 Apostles rock formation, and loop back thru Port Campbell, Colac, Winchelsea, Geelong, and back into Melbourne. A lovely day out.

You can drive it yourself, or take a bus tour. This coast was shipwreck Heaven, and l500 sailing ships were lost here. It’s a long day, 7.30a.m. to 6.15 p.m. You can take one tour which lets you stay overnight at Apollo Bay. You will see great surfing beaches, and nice little townships.
