Wine lovers should take a tour to the Yarra Valley which is one of the great wine growing regions of Australia. This way you can drink, and not worry about driving. Leave this to someone else. You travel thru the eastern suburbs of Melbourne into the huge mountain ash trees of the Dandenong rainforest. You will visit Fergussons Winery for a spit roast lunch, wine tasting and delightful surrounding, experience the history and the great taste of St. Huberts Winery. Visit Domaine Chandon, Victoria’s premier five star winery and soak up the atmosphere while enjoying a selection of sparkling wine. Enjoy the views and the valleys of one of Victoria’s most picturesque areas. Educational, and a great day out. Yarra Valley produces chardonnay, pinot noir and rich cabernet sauvignon. The Shiraz is my favorite, but all are good.
