There are several different ones you can take. The Waipara Valley north of Christchurch has four outstanding wineries to visit. Lunch, tastings, and coffee are all included in the price. There are over 30 boutique wineries in the valley growing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Waipara Valley has become a major player in the country’s wine industry.

The Akaroa Scenic Wine Tour takes you onto the Banks Peninsula which was a French fishing village. You visit a cheese factory, Lovely scenery, and a pretty coastal ride and you stop at a famous French Winery.

Taste Wine and Food Tour is my famous. You stop at the Spa Chocolatier and can taste some of their 70 handmade Belgian chocolates. Then you taste New Zealand specialties, such as olive, walnut and avocado oils, hummus, nuts, and dukkah which is something I always buy to use as a coating for fish or chicken. You then visit one of the area’s award winning wineries. Great shopping at every stop.
